Sugar Land Custom Homes

If there’s one thing the city of Sugar Land has plenty of – apart from its master-planned communities, that is – it’s its green and open spaces.  You’ll find Sugar Land custom homes in communities where open areas are a defining characteristic and there’s hardly a Sugar Land neighborhood without an open space feature.  Aside from the various communities’ individually maintained green areas, the city also currently maintains almost a dozen community parks and open spaces.

Those who invest in Sugar Land custom homes have immediate access to a wide range of green spaces.  At present, the city is developing 1,200 acres along the banks of the Brazos River and plans to own triple that in the future.  Sugar Land New Homes aim to conserve this natural area along the Brazos River Corridor and has just recently opened 150 acres of the region’s still-bing-developed 420-acre Sugar Land Memorial Park.  The park’s first phase alone already contains hiking and biking trails that extend overt two and a half miles, a lake, a playground and a canoe launch into the river.

Other parks in the city include Imperial Park, First Colony Park, and Duhacsek Park.  Many of these come with features such as lakes, playground and picnic areas, ball fields and so on.
